Or in the room at the MCT – 80 Briton Ferry Rd, The Melin, Neath SA11 1AP. Ramp access available. Just bring yourself. And a pal. And if you like it, invite someone else 😁
This is a great way to do yoga – it helps joints get healthy and is low impact. It helps you move better and begins to build protective strength. This is helpful for all sorts of people with chronic pain and movement limitations, people (whether through decreased strength or pain) have difficulty getting up from a low chair. It’s good for your body and good for your mind – this is a great combination for people with fibromyalgia, or rheumatoid arthritis and in improving wellbeing.
I am biased, I know. But these are the effects people experience with regular chair yoga. It helps rebuild your confidence in how to move better, often with less pain. You get you gradually renegotiate what your body will and won’t do. And it’s only a fiver.
Hi I would like to give the chair yoga a go please. Where in Briton Ferry are you please?
Wednesday Chair Yoga is in the MCT building (Melin Community Trust, used to be known as the MAC or MCC). It’s 80 Briton Ferry road – up the Neath end just before Hikary’s.

I am interested, I’ve had a very difficult year healthwise, covid pneumonia , bilateral pneumothorax vented for 14 days Jan 2022, paralysed vocal cords , tracheostomy August 2022, I need better breath control and increased fitness as gained weight due to inactivity.
Goodness. You’ve had a tough time. You are very welcome. Is your GP happy for you to do gentle exercise? And are there any movements you need to avoid? This class can help you 👍🏽
I had physio post ITU from their physio team. Just need to be careful with my neck. I have deconditioned so think this would be a great start .
Ok. Cool. Will you come to the MCT? Aka MCC or the MAC 😁
