Companion today starts in downward dog (adho mukha svanasana) moving smoothly into eka pada adho mukha svanasana (in English ‘dog with a lifted leg’ is an image that begs a lamppost, so we’d better call it 3 legged – the translation being something like ‘one foot downward facing dog’)
