From Neda and Richard ahead of the bank holiday:
We are a husband and wife team working to restore this historic building to provide a multifaceted and adaptable creative space for all members of the local and wider community.
The project will take time but our aims for the space are as follows:
Weekdays:
- cafe and arts shop
- Short and long term courses
- Independent arts based activities
- Meeting and workspace
- Exhibitions
- Space and resources for community projects
- Access to creative arts equipment such as a recording booth, printing press and sewing machines
- Community lending library
Evenings
- Night classes
- Lectures
- Cinema nights
- Live music
- Meeting space
Weekends
- Immersive creative weekend experiences packaged with a variety of arts activities and meals.
- High quality art courses that will attract people from across the country, supporting tourism in NPT.
