Chair Yoga – Wednesday 19th October

This class is for people how have some difficulty moving, whether due to balance, reduced range of movement at different joints, loss of strength, chronic pain (includingback pain). It’s also for people who might struggle to get down to the floor safely and back up again (in your standard yoga class).

The movement is gentle and exploratory and will help increase your range, strength and quality of movements. It helps improve your circulation, your posture and your balance. It will help you find safe ways of moving that avoids aggravating your pain, which can improve wellbeing and confidence.

6pm. Costs £5. Everyone welcome. The Melin Community Trust is the up to date name for what has been known as the MCC and the MAC. It’s at 80 Briton Ferry Road, with accessible entry. You can also join in via zoom here – no one in the room is on zoom (except me) though we can all hear each other and interact verbally – post covid I think eveything need to remain blended: we learnt so much through the pandemic about how to be inclusive: I think we should keep it.
